Telnyx Account Verification
Telnyx uses a leveled verification system to prevent malicious use of our services by unwanted users, this system helps achieve this by requiring new users to reach certain criteria before we allow full use of our services. Features that are unlocked for verified users are as follows:
Buy a number.
Assign a connection/messaging profile to a number.
Set up global messaging capabilities.
Set up voice capabilities in the US.
Create a multi-user organization.
Set up voice capabilities outside of the US (International Calling).
Set up call forwarding.
Send messages from your account at a higher rate.
Send messages internationally using an alphanumeric sender ID.
Submit orders for hosted SMS messaging
Using 10DLC for messaging
To order SIM cards to a non-US address
To order SIM cards if you registered with a freemail (gmail, outlook, etc) account.
Remove restriction that prevents payment from address not associated with the phone number used to verify your account.
Removes payment top up limits.

Step by Step Guide to Account Verification
Level 1 Verification
The Account/Verifications section is located under "My Account". On the left pane, click on Account Settings > My Account.
From there, you should see a sub-header Account Level then follow the instructions from there! Most users will already be level 1 verified when they've confirmed their email address on signup.
Level 2 Verification
To remove restrictions around calling certain international destinations and call forwarding and to increase your Account-wide messaging send rate from 600 to 3,000, and toll-free send rate from 6 to 1,200 you must apply for level 2 verification.
Once you have applied for Level 2 Verification a Telnyx team member will review your account. This can include a team member reaching out to you via email to discuss further details such as your use case and for you to provide clarification and/or verify account details.
You can only submit a Level 2 request if your account is Level 1 verified and a contact number and company name are populated in the Account Information section of the “General” tab in the portal.
Once the prerequisites above are applied, hit the “Request Level 2 Verification” button to submit your request.
It can take up to 48 hours before your Level 2 submission is either accepted or rejected.
You will be notified via email once your level 2 request has been processed.
Organisation owners are the only individuals that have access to the verification section in their account. Sub members will not be able to access it.
