What IPs do I need to whitelist?

Depending on your location, and whether or not you have a firewall/acl configured on your network - please configure the SIP trunk on your voice platform using the following domains:

If you have a firewall configured on your network, you will need to whitelist the following Media IPs.

US/CAN: (addresses .0 to .255)
EU: (addresses .128 to .255)
AUS: (addresses .128 to .255)

When using the media forking feature Telnyx will send the forked media from an IP address in one of these subnets:

  • stream_type = raw (default)

    • (addresses .0 to .63)

    • (addresses .0 to .63)

    • (addresses .128 to .191)

    • (addresses .192 to .223)

  • stream_type = decrypted

    • subnets specified in Media section.

You may need to explicitly open your firewall to allow UDP traffic from these subnets.
