Ordering Restriction for New L1 Users

Newly signed up L1 accounts can only order local numbers in their country of origin starting March 24, 2025

Accounts created after March 24, 2025 with a Level 1 (L1) status will only be able to order local phone numbers in their account's country of origin. This policy is being introduced as part of our ongoing efforts to combat fraudulent activity and enhance the security of our platform.

Pre-existing L1 accounts (created before March 24, 2025) are unimpacted and will have no ordering restrictions. Telnyx reserves the right to update these restrictions in the future.

All Level 2 (L2) accounts have no ordering restrictions.

In other words:

  • If an account was created before March 24, 2025, then they will have no ordering restrictions.

  • If an account was created after March 24, 2025 and is L2 verified, they will have no ordering restrictions.

  • If an account was created after March 24, 2025 and is NOT L2 verified, ordering restrictions will apply. They will only be able to order local phone numbers in their account's country of origin.

Sub users:

Sub user ordering restrictions will be based on their organization owner's account signup date and verification status. It will not be determined based on the sub users account.

Managed Accounts:

Ordering restrictions will be based on the account signup date and verification status of each individual ManagER or ManagED account.
