DID Number Requirements for Switzerland

In order to purchase a Switzerland number you will need to provide the following:

Starting September 16, 2024, Requirement Groups will be mandatory for ordering phone numbers in Switzerland (CH).

Requirement Groups let you manage regulatory requirements by pre-filling necessary information once, allowing for reuse across multiple orders. This change aims to streamline compliance.

Local Numbers in Switzerland

For personal identity verification:

* Name, last name

* Contact phone number

* Contact e-mail

* Passport or ID copy

For business identity verification:

* Name, last name of an authorized representative

* Contact phone number

* Contact e-mail

* Passport or ID copy of an authorized representative

* Company name

* Company registration certificate

For address verification:

* Address matching the DID area code (street, building number, postal code, city, and country)

* Proof of address (dated within 3 months)

Toll-Free Numbers in Switzerland

For business identity verification:

* Name, last name of an authorized representative

* Contact phone number

* Company name

* Company registration certificate (dated within 3 months)

For address verification:

* Address worldwide (street, building number, postal code, city and country)

*Business use required: Business use is required, private use is not allowed.

***Please note that once the documentation is received it will take approximately 72 hours to validate the information and activate the number for use.
