Requirements

Local / National Numbers in Mexico

  1. LOA (NIP (for individual person)) signed by the Authorized Person.

  2. Copy of the National ID / Passport of the Authorized Person.

  3. Latest Invoice.

  4. If the number(s) belong to a Company, the Company Registration Certificate – “Acta Constitutiva”.

  5. If the number(s) belong to a Company and the Authorized Person is not mentioned on the Company Registration Certificate, an Attorney's Authorization for Representative – “Poder notarial”.

Toll-free Numbers in Mexico

  1. LOA signed by the Authorized Person.

  2. Copy of the ID / Passport of the Authorized Person.

  3. Latest Invoice.

  4. If the number(s) belong to a Company, the Company Registration Certificate – “Acta Constitutiva”.

  5. If the number(s) belong to a Company and the Authorized Person is not mentioned on the Company Registration Certificate, an Attorney's Authorization for Representative – “Poder notarial”.

Mobile Numbers in Mexico

  1. LOA signed by the Authorized Person.

  2. Copy of the National ID / Passport of the Authorized Person.

  3. Assignment Letter completed and signed by the Authorized Person.

  4. If the number(s) belong to a Company, copy of the Notarial Deed (POA) in which the company grants General Administrative Powers to the representative who signs the LOA.

Porting Hours and Earliest FOC date

For local/national/toll-free

Porting hours (local time)

Monday to Friday at 2:00 AM.

The porting of the number will be automatically triggered from 2 AM local time and can take up to 2 hours to fully complete.

Earliest FOC date

2 business days from submission.

For Mobile

Porting hours (local time)

Monday to Friday at 2:00 AM to 7:30 AM.

It is important to note that when carrying out the MOBILE portability to our VOIP service, there will be a loss of data service (the customer should consider the entire window as a period of service interruption). The customer won't be able to use internet data or maintain the connections they had with the previous provider once the port completes.
