Porting In - Day of Port (FOC)

Requirements for FOC

On the day that you numbers are set to be ported (FOC Date) you can run a few checks to ensure that everything is in order and ready to go once your numbers are ported. 

  1. Ensure that you have assigned a connection to all numbers that are set to be ported.

  2. Ensure that you have your internal systems or hardware set up and ready to go at the time of the port. If you

Note: Sometimes there may be a slight delay in the time that the number(s) on your port request are ported at. Please be aware that we work to ensure your numbers are ported as close to the FOC time as possible, but when we experience unusually high volumes of request, there may be a slight delay in this. 

If you require your number(s) to be ported as close to the FOC time as possible, please inform the porting team a few days before you numbers are set to be ported.

Not SMS Capable?

Often, if you review your Customer Portal during the port process, you will see a note that states: " Not SMS Capable " beside your pending number. Please be advised that ALL US numbers are SMS Capable, and this status will during the activation of your port request.
