How do I search for numbers with Telnyx Mission Control Portal

Telnyx offers various search methods including explicit number search functionality. Once you've logged into your Mission Control account, you can navigate to the "SEARCH & BUY NUMBERS" tab on the "NUMBERS" page to perform searches.

Search Types

Region

Input a City, ZIP Code or Rate Center to view available inventory in that region

Prefix (NPANXX & Int'l)

Input an Area Code (required) and Prefix (optional) to view matching inventory

Toll Free

Search all Toll Free inventory or select a particular Prefix to to view matching results

Advanced

Input a Region/Area Code and add additional criteria to search for explicit numbers (wildcards, repeating digits, consecutive numbers, etc.)

Note

Related Numbers: You may see "(Related Number)" displayed next to numbers in the results section. This indicates that the number doesn't meet your exact search requirements; however, it is still located within the same Rate Center that you were searching.

For example, you may be looking for a (212) number in Manhattan that ends in repeating digits. Unfortunately, there are very few (212) numbers available and we might not have an exact match. We will automatically search for numbers in the same Rate Center (still Manhattan numbers) that meet your requirements (ending in repeating digits) and display those results with "(Related Number)" included.

Advanced Search Guide

When performing advanced number searches, you must select between Region or NPA-NXX. This field (Region/Area Code) is required when submitting a search.
